I recently turned 25.

My life is beautifully complicated.
I'm glad to say that I've grown a lot this year.
Especially this year.
This year has been hard on this old heart of mine.

Somedays it's the only thing that keeps me from shooting people. holds me together.
In all seriousness, if it weren't for prayer and G-d, and church - my life would be very different right now.

I enjoy being able to create something out of nothing.
Sure, it's cakes, but it kinda reminds me of a Creator.
And that He takes delight in the minuscule things that I do.

The more glamorous the better.
I like make up, dresses, nail polish, perfume and all around girliness.
And I will wear them while doing this:

The greatest thing I've ever learned was that laughter is the most precious and attractive thing you can own and put on.

If it weren't for that I'd be a cynic about life.

Sadly, I can say that I've become a bit jaded about some aspects of life.
But, I just tell myself it's me becoming more realistic.
Part of that whole "growing older" crap everyone keeps talking about.
But I'm able to look at the world and life without those rose colored glasses.
It's certainly not rosy, but when you spot color, it makes you much more grateful for the beauty in the ugliness.
Sadly, I can say that I've become a bit jaded about some aspects of life.
But, I just tell myself it's me becoming more realistic.
